Stephen Fitzgerald

Stephen Fitzgerald is an experienced senior leader, organizational performance strategist, and culture champion with over fifteen years of experience in higher education and athletic administration.

Driven by a commitment to creating transformative growth opportunities, he takes pride in his inquiry to truly understand an organization’s mission and vision. He has also demonstrated the ability to lead and implement, turning vision into action. As a Senior Associate Athletic Director, he serves as a senior member of the leadership team to promote a culture of inclusion, personal development, and learning. He is responsible for the oversight and development of all the daily operations for numerous teams and personnel.

Fitzgerald is most proud of his work leading a culture development process that furthered the department’s mission; the formation of whole-person development by endeavoring to provide all stakeholders a bedrock commitment to the department’s core values; an appreciation of differences, integrity, community, and a commitment to excellence.

Fitzgerald earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Faith, Peace & Justice from Boston College, and a master’s in Education/Athletic Administration from Endicott College. He is a proud husband and father who resides with his family in his home state of Massachusetts.
